Set in the old empty carpet warehouse in Wollongong, Always Feeling Frightened Inside follows four homeless teenagers who are squatting with the bare minimum they need to survive. They have all experienced the struggles of an unaccepting society. The show explores teenage pregnancy, drug addiction, sexual identity, sex workers, alcoholism, homelessness, and theft.
