  • The Immigrant by Illawarra writer Paul Rybak, portrays the vanishing relationship between a Father and Son. 

    It is Friday night in Wollongong. Janos, an elderly yet physically strong and highly intelligent East European man, tells of his life of women, drink and the violent ghosts of his past. It is a rehearsal for a conversation he must have with his estranged son.

    Three days later Janos’ son Tomas will have his conversation with his father and the hovering phantoms of the past.
