The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde is a classic comedy. In a new take, we have gone back to the past and set the play in a drawing room setting where the stage is simply the launching pad for a cast that wander freely about the audience, interacting and involving them while the audience enjoy tea and sweets with the cast.
This style of drawing room performance was quite popular in the Victorian period and Wilde used it often to run works in before production.
